Portia Adukai Hammond

Mrs. Portia Adukai Hammond is the Head of Human Resource & Administration for Cosmopolitan Health Insurance. She commenced her career with Zoomlion Ghana Ltd in 2012 as a National Service Personnel. After, she worked as an Administrative Officer with Bell Global Management Services Limited in 2011. Portia moved on to join Cosmopolitan Health Insurance as a Human Resource & Administration Officer, where she was later promoted to the position of Senior Human Resource & Administration Officer in 2016. In 2017, Portia assumed the role of Hospital Administrator for Cosmopolitan Medical Center (CMC) – a newly created subsidiary of Cosmopolitan Health Insurance. In January 2021 she was appointed the Head of Human Resource & Administration for Cosmopolitan Health Insurance.

Portia holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in English from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology (KNUST) and an MBA from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), where she was adjudged the Overall Best Student Graduate and the Best Student 2016. She is currently pursuing professional HR certification programme at the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management.
